Alumni Access to Herman Library

The Reference Room staff is available to assist alumni of the CHRLS through several methods:

Copyright laws prohibit the forwarding of documents to anyone outside the University, but Library staff can assist by sending citations for articles and identifying resources.  Alumni are welcome to visit the Library and use the collection and electronic resources onsite.  Alumni may also access the Library Catalog.

Alumni Access to University Libraries

Alumni who belong to the University of Minnesota Alumni Association will also be able to access selected licensed databases online, including Academic Serach Premier and Business Source Premier.  Both of thse databases provide full-text articles from a wide range of journals and newspapers.  Click here for more information about Univeristy Libraries and instructions for access.
