Entrepreneurial Studies

Entrepreneurial Perspectives (2 credits)
New Undergraduate Course

The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is pleased to offer a new 2-credit course for fall 2005. Jeff Wirth, a prominent local real estate developer and Carlson School alum, will be leading an experiential course involving in-depth participation by 8 local entrepreneurs. Meeting once a week, undergraduate students will work in teams along with the entrepreneur to develop a case study related to the entrepreneur's business. Case studies will then be presented to the group for discussion and analysis. The goal is for students to gain real-world experience in identifying and addressing cross-functional issues across a broad range of entrepreneurial ventures.

The course will fulfill an elective requirement in the entrepreneurial management major.
