Hui Liao
'02 PhD

Hui received her PhD in HRIR at the Carlson School in 2002. She is now on the faculty at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where she is co-editor, Research in Personnel and Human Resources Management, Department of Management and Organization.


 

Her current research interests include service management, leadership, high performance work systems and HR practices, workforce diversity, organizational justice and justice climate, and multilevel theory and method. Her work has received the Academy of Management's Dorothy Harlow Distinguished Paper Award and the Southern Management Association's Best Doctoral Paper Award. She has published in several journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology.
