On Thursday, October 23, 2008, the MILI Student Association hosted a public, hour-long discussion of the healthcare policies proposed by the two presidential candidates and how they planned  to approach the growing problems of cost, quality, and access in healthcare. The panel included medical industry experts from the University of Minnesota faculty and the healthcare business community, including:
