The CFS (Center for the Financial Services Industry) is energizing a dramatic change in the approach to finance teaching and research at the Carlson School. It will be the catalyst for improved alignment between the Finance Department and the strengths, resources and needs of the financial services community towards a common educational objective:
To thoroughly educate and practically train graduates for the financial services industry.
The CFS is a coming together of finance faculty, finance professionals and students for their mutual benefit. It is built on the belief that such a "learning community" fosters a sharing of knowledge that leads to insight and solutions of current and emerging business leadership and management issues.
