The following services are available to assist you in your search for an internship:
On-campus Interviewing: Over 100 companies come to campus to interview students for internships and permanent jobs each year. Interviews are conducted during both fall and spring semesters.
Details on the policies and procedures for on campus interviewing for internships are available in the Undergraduate Business Career Center. The Edge (carlsonschool.umn.edu) is the automated system that administers the process.
Resume Search: Companies frequently access resumes of students registered with the UBCC through The Edge The employer will then contact those students they are interested in for interviews.
External Postings: Companies looking for interns but not coming to campus for those positions will have listings in the external posting section of The Edge You can apply for these opportunities online, just as you would for an on-campus posting.
Self-Search Resources:
The UBCC has a number of resources available to students to assist you in your search for internships. Resources include The Edge, books, counseling staff, and contacts on The Edge (Alumni Link, recruiters and students).
