MBA Alumni Advisory Council (AAC)

The MBA Alumni Advisory Council (AAC) is a governing board comprised of recent graduates from the Carlson MBA programs. The AAC's mission is to develop a dedicated professional network of Carlson MBAs in the aspirational stages of their careers.

The AAC is responsible for planning a variety of events and programs, including:

  • MBA grads and current MBA students get together each month at MBA AAC First Fridays in a fun, social atmosphere at a local establishment.
  • The AAC Orientation Reception welcomes new MBA students and introduces them to the Alumni network.
  • The AAC Corporate Liaisons initiative which was launched in 15 Twin Cities corporations in Summer 2005. The goal of the Liaison program is to build the Carlson School alumni network in corporate settings.

If you are interested in getting involved in the AAC to help plan events, write for the newsletter, or are simply interested in more information, please contact Shelly Grothe, associate director of alumni services at (612) 626-9486 or sgrothe@csom.umn.edu.
