Community Relationships - Marcus has made numerous professional presentations at academic conferences, including the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, and the Association for Public Policy and Analysis annual meetings. He also has spoken to many trade and professional societies.
- Marcus has worked with many Twin Cities and national companies, including Northern States Power (now Xcel Energy), General Mills, Medtronic, Corning, IBM, and 3M.
- Marcus was a founder and board member of Minnesota Environmental Initiative (MEI) and of Energy Alley, an offshoot of MEI, which is dedicated to advancing the interests of energy-efficient and renewable energy businesses in Minnesota.
