Carlson School Executive Education launches short programs for busy leaders
The Momentum Series provides 4- and 8-hour programs that deliver results

MINNEAPOLIS – (Mar. 23, 2009) – When you only have a few hours, you need to make sure you spend it wisely. The Carlson School of Management’s Executive Education program is launching a series of half-day and one-day courses in May. The Momentum Series includes high-impact development classes designed to fit the needs, budgets and schedules of busy executives and managers.

The Momentum Series is a new executive education option that features relevant topics and instructors with real-world expertise. Executives and managers can choose from 21 courses that are designed to provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate the current business environment.

“The new Momentum Series complements our current executive education offerings,” says Mark Kizilos, the Carlson School’s assistant dean of Executive Education. “These new programs feature a shorter format, highly targeted topics and experienced teachers. The courses are designed to provide participants with actionable insights on focused subjects.”

Diverse course topics range from boosting your personal performance to price execution in tough times to finding the right financing for your business. The four- and eight-hour courses will begin May 11 and run through July 14 at the Carlson School of Management’s Executive Education Center, 321 19th Avenue South, Minneapolis. The cost to enroll is $495 for a half-day course and $995 for one-day courses, with discounts for those who register for multiple courses.
