Dileep Rao Releases Handbook of Business Finance (5th edition)
Book is companion to Finance Any Business Intelligently

Minneapolis, MN (April 6, 2009)—Dileep Rao, senior lecturer at the Carlson School of Management and columnist for Forbes.com, one of the largest business sites on the Internet, today releases the fifth edition of the Handbook of Business Finance.

This book describes in layman’s language all the relevant details for entrepreneurs about equity, debt, hybrid and development finance sources and instruments for entrepreneurs. The Handbook of Business Finance (5th edition) offers detailed information about 11 sources of equity financing, seven sources of debt financing, six other financial sources, two types of equity financing, 21 sources of debt and leasing instruments, six other types of financial instruments and numerous types of local, state and federal financial sources. In addition, it offers details about how to raise money via private placements or public offerings. The book also shows how to finance four different types of businesses.

“While the first book in the series, Finance Any Business Intelligently™ shows entrepreneurs how much money they need, how to be financially efficient, how to structure their financing, and which are the right sources and instruments, this book shows them how these financial sources operate and how to use these financial instruments so that they are well informed when they seek money,” says Rao.

According to John Stavig, director of the Gary S. Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Minnesota, “entrepreneurs frequently stumble when they seek financing. These two books by Dr. Rao guide entrepreneurs to structure the right financing for their business, and to find the right sources and instruments.”

“You’ve got three choices when you’re trying to find money for your company,” says Sam Richter, CEO of SBR Worldwide, LLC. “You can do it yourself and ‘wing it,’ which is the absolute right way to go if you believe that life’s greatest lessons come through failure. You can hire someone to get the money for you, or you can buy Dileep’s handbooks and get simple step-by-step instructions to find the right financing for your business in a way that’s easy-to-understand and provides you the confidence you need to go out and do it.”

Handbook of Business Finance (5th edition) is 214 pages and available for $38 by visiting infinancing.com .
