Brand Matters Presents Mary Rapaport, vice president of marketing for Universal Hospital Services

Mary Rapaport, vice president of marketing for Universal Hospital Services, will be the Brand Matters featured speaker on Wednesday, May 6 at 8:00 a.m. at the Carlson School’s 3M Auditorium, 321 19th Ave. S., Minneapolis.

In her presentation, “B2B Branding,” Rapaport will discuss a case study about Minco’s successful rebranding and marketing efforts that led to a 30 percent growth in one year for the 50-year-old Minnesota-based electronic components manufacturer.

Essential to Minco’s outstanding results was its commitment to a clear, core message and an investment in marketing communications to spread the vision, first among its employees, then among its customers. Unconventional tactics were coupled with stealth viral marketing campaigns to secure internal buy-in and organizational alignment. Minco's case study was originally published on MarketingProfs.com, reaching more than 261,300 marketing and business professionals. A copy is available for download at http://www.skmarketing.com/marketingprofs.

Offered jointly by Yamamoto Moss Mackenzie, the Carlson School of Management, and Twin Cities Business, Brand Matters is a powerful speakers’ forum that provides tools and insights to help companies build their brands.

Register online at carlsonschool.umn.edu/brandmatters. The event includes breakfast and costs $25 online via credit card, or cash or check payment at the door.
