Most Full-Time MBA students receive loans, even if they qualify for other types of financial aid. The University of Minnesota offers a variety of need- and non-need-based loan programs, administered through the Office of Student Finance.

To be considered for any loan program, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applications can be submitted as early as January each year, but only after a student has filed income taxes. We encourage students to complete the FAFSA online.
