A bachelor's degree awarded by a recognized university. We require official transcripts in both English and Chinese, and official copies of their degree certificates and diplomas in both English and Chinese. All of these records, original Chinese and English translations, must be official (having an original red seal of the issuing university). Degrees and diplomas are two different documents; the diploma alone is not sufficient because it generally does not indicate that a degree was awarded, only that the student "has been permitted to graduate."

France
University education is organized according to three consecutive cycles: the first cycle requires 2 years of university study beyond a French "baccalaureate" (completion of secondary education); the second cycle consists of an additional 2 or 3 years of study beyond the first cycle; and the third cycle consists of 3 to 5 years of further study beyond the second cycle. We consider completion of the 2- to 3-year second cycle to be equivalent to a US bachelor's degree. Examples of some second cycle degrees/diplomas are: A Diplome/Certificat de Fin d'Etudes (Diploma/Certificate of Completion) from a private business school recognized by the state; a Diplome d/Etudes Superieures d'Instituteur (Diploma of Higher Studies in Education); a Diplome d'Etudes Superieures Commerciales Administratives et Financieres/DESCAF (Diploma of Higher Studies in Business, Administration, and Finance); a Maitrise (Master); a Maitrise des Sciences et Techniques/MST (Master in Sciences and Technology); a Maitrise d'Informatique Appliquee a Gestion/MIAG (Master in Computer Science Applied to Business); a Magistere (Master); a Diplome d'Ingenieur (Diploma of Engineer). (This may not be an all-inclusive list.) We require certified true copies of each year's examination results, with certified English translations, and certified true copies of diplomas with certified translations.

Hong Kong
Education in Hong Kong is based on the British system, where completion of Advanced Level Examinations (A-levels) represents essentially 13 years of secondary education. Bachelor's degrees, therefore, generally represent 3 years of study (although there are some 4-year programs), but are considered equivalent to US bachelor's degrees. We require official transcripts, which are issued in English and generally indicate the award of the degree.

India
Bachelor's degrees representing 3 years of study beyond Higher Secondary or Senior School (standard 12) are not equivalent to US bachelor's degrees. Any 4-year bachelor's degree, generally these are in the engineering and technology fields, is equivalent. Holders of 3-year bachelor's degrees must complete further education to be considered eligible. This further education can consist of: a master's degree (generally these are 2-year programs); a post-graduate diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (these can be either 1- or 2-year programs); an "advanced" bachelor's degree that requires a 3-year bachelor's degree for admission, such as a Bachelor of Law (these are generally 1- or 2-year programs beyond the three-year BA, BS or BCom); Chartered Accountancy (completion of the final examinations administered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). Candidates must complete whatever further education they begin. For example, completion of only the first year of a Master's degree (part I) is not sufficient. Indian education is changing and growing rapidly; the list of possible acceptable advanced education that would allow a 3-year bachelor's degree holder to apply to the MBA program is always growing, so this is not an all-inclusive list. We require certified true copies of examination results or mark sheets covering the entire educational program, with certified true copies of diplomas. If the diplomas are not issued in English, they must be accompanied by certified translations.
