The Carlson Executive MBA program allows experienced professionals to earn a degree in 4 semesters. The intense 48-credit curriculum is designed to help students develop a deeper global perspective by emphasizing experiential learning, with a particular focus on emerging and mature markets around the world.
Each Executive MBA class proceeds through the program together as a cohort. Course schedules for the 4 semesters (fall and spring, for 2 years) are set. From orientation to graduation, it takes approximately 21 months to complete the program. Classes are held Fridays and Saturdays on alternate weekends, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classes do not meet during the summer.
In early August, before the first semester, the program offers pre-program workshops in basic math, accounting, statistics and case study analysis. At the orientation, students get together to meet, pick up course materials, and learn more about the program.
