WebVista Assessments (quizzes/surveys) are a native WebVista tool.
If using Carlson LMS, click to go to , or go to WebVista B via a direct URL (see http://webvista.umn.edu).

If you get a grey landing screen, click "start" or "done."
CREATING Assessments
Click the "Build" tab (upper left).
Find "Assessments" in the left navigation menu and click its icon.
Once inside the Assessments area, you can create new assessments, copy existing assessments, export/import assessments, or adjust assessment settings.
The Assessments tool in WebCT is one of the more advanced tools for instructors. CSOM IT recommends instructors attend training sessions with UTTC, consult with a local technology professional or contact the CSOM IT Faculty/Staff Service Center before setting up your first quiz.
Create a "practice" quiz for students to take before any "real" quiz that will count towards their grade. This helps shake out any student technical problems and builds students' confidence in how your quizzes will "look and feel."
TEACHING with Assessments
Click the "Teach" tab.
Click Assessments in the left-navigation.
Click the actionlink at the end of title of the assessment you wish to review:
To review individual student submissions (e.g. to grade paragraph questions or make a score adjustment), click the actionlink at the end of the assessments title and select "View Submissions."
To review the quiz statistics as a whole, choose "view reports."
