PRITI PRADHAN SHAH is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Organization at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She developed her expertise in negotiations at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, which is known for its specialized negotiation expertise. She also teaches Organizational Behavior, Organizational Change, Leadership, and Groups. In addition to the Carlson School, she has taught at MIT and Yale. Shah has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biology from the University of Rochester. She holds a Masters and PhD in Organizational Behavior from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
LORI J. ABRAMS is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Strategic Management and Organization at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She is also a communication consultant and trainer for a variety of organizations and has expertise in survey design, needs analysis, and change agent skills. Abrams is a former manager at RSM McGladrey’s consulting division where she conducted HR audits and Executive Training. She earned her doctorate in Organizational Communication from the University of Minnesota with a research focus in healthcare management and her BA from the University of California.
JIM HILBERT is Vice President of Professional Services at Alignor, an international negotiation firm that provides training, consulting, and performance support tools to Fortune 500 companies and NGOs across the world. He is an experienced attorney, negotiator, public speaker, and instructor, combining all four disciplines in his approach to decision-making strategies and interest-based negotiation. He has lectured and served as a guest speaker at public and private sector conferences throughout the U.S. on topics of negotiation, conflict resolution, civil rights, and education policy. Hilbert is also founder and executive director of the Center for Negotiation and Justice at William Mitchell College of Law, where he teaches negotiation and advanced alternative dispute resolution. He received his BA from Carleton College and his JD from the University of Minnesota Law School.
