National Association of Women MBAs


NAWMBA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women MBAs in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation's workforce.  In order to accomplish its mission, NAWMBA focuses its efforts in four key areas: education, professional development, networking, and collaboration.

Carlson Chapter of NAWMBA

The Carlson chapter of NAWMBA strives to be a professional information resource; to facilitate networking opportunities with professionals committed to the development of women in business; to increase communication among graduate business schools regarding their initiatives; to educate and support future women in business; and to be a positive, proactive and inclusive community builder.   The Carlson chapter hosts events throughout the academic year including guest speakers, networking events, volunteer opportunities, and social events.

Membership

Annual fee of $15 covers participation in all Carlson chapter events as well as membership in the national organization. Carlson NAWMBA members receive numerous benefits from NAWMBA including access to an online resume and career center, industry specific workshops, and career development coaching events.  Please email nawmba@umn.edu for membership information.
