The Carlson School Office of Information Technology has video conferencing services available for Carlson School students and faculty. Room 2-234 is equipped with video conferencing equipment and can accommodate up to 30 students. Equipment includes an instructor podium with computer, laptop connection, VHS/DVD player, and document camera. The room also provides video recording capability.

Costs of Services

There is no charge for IP connection. Please verify that the connecting location also has IP capability.

For ISDN connection, the party making the call is responsible for the charges. The following costs apply, subject to change:

• Within Minnesota - 48 cents per minute
• Out of state - 36 cents per minute
• Europe (not UK) - 78 cents per minute
• UK - 36 cents per minute
• Canada - 30 cents per minute
• China - $1.26 per minute
• India - $2.10 per minute
• Costa Rica - $1.74 per minute
• Mexico - $1.14 per minute

Other locations require a quote through OIT. A CUFS number is required to hold the room.

How to Book the Space

Send an e-mail to Vikki Anderson a minumum of two weeks prior to the event. Room use is restricted to distance learning events. Classes will have priority over other uses. Please book your class well in advance.
