Entrepreneurial Management Requirements


The Entrepreneurial Management major is suited for the person interested in successfully organizing, owning, managing and assuming the risks of a business (entrepreneurship) or successfully assisting organizations in developing new business opportunities (intrepreneurship). Businesses, large and small, are coming to the realization of the importance of entrepreneurship and are being challenged to take advantage of new markets and greater demands on current products. Their ability to adapt to this changing environment can yield great rewards. But it requires multifunctional and multitasking individuals able to form and develop new businesses and comfortably exist within a sea of change.

Students minoring in Entrepreneurial Management must take a minimum of 10 credits from the “Required” list above, and an additional 6 credits from either the “Required” list or the “Elective” list.


*Students who declared the major prior to Fall 2004, may complete the old or new requirements, but may not combine the two. All students are required to follow the new program (above) starting Fall 2004.
