Operations Management (20 credits)


Operations Management is responsible for supplying the product or service of the organization. The Operations area manages the conversion or transformation process that converts inputs into outputs. The Operations area manages the vast majority of resources, physical assets and is primarily responsible for the profitability of most firms. Operations managers make decisions regarding the operations function and its connection with other functions. The operations managers plan and control the production system and its interfaces within the organization and with the external environment.
