Gregory Allen, '93 BSB, recenlty joined The Minneapolis Foundation as controller. He previously worked for seven years at Minnesota Children's Museum as director of finance.

Soon Ang, ’93 PhD, has received The Nanyang Award for Research & Innovation. It is the highest recognition to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in scientific knowledge through research breakthroughs, and significant technological innovations on the world stage. She received the award for her achievements in cultural intelligence and behavioral science research which has a major impact on the field of international education and cross-cultural training and counseling.

Mark McNeilly, ’93 MBA, had his third book published by Oxford University Press in January. It is titled George Washington and the Art of Business: Leadership Principles of America’s First Commander-in-Chief.

Melanie Rose, ’93 CEMBA, has been on an 18 month assignment in Northern Asia as managing director for Oracle Retail in Japan, China and Korea. In this role, Ms. Rose is responsible for establishing and growing Oracle Retail's software license sales teams and generating new license opportunities. Oracle Retail is an independent business unit within Oracle established as the result of the acquisitions of Retek, Profit Logic and 360 Commerce.

Beverly Aho, '95 MBA, has joined the James H. Gilbert Law Group, PLLC, as an associate attorney. She will concentrate on commercial and real estate litigation and appeals, real estate development and tax protests, corporate transactions, business formation, and general business law.


Kim Barnes, ’95 MBA, was married on January, 13 2007 to Mr. Chuck Wright on the Island of St. Lucia.
