We understand that circumstances may arise that will necessitate the cancellation of a program registration. If a registrant must cancel out of the Minnesota Executive Program (MEP) or the Minnesota Management Institute (MMI) the following policies will apply:

• Prior to the program start date, a registrant may send a substitute participant from the same organization at no additional cost.
• Cancellation notices must be received in writing.
• Cancellation fees are based on the date the written cancellation notice is received:
  • 6 or more weeks prior to the program start date.......100% refund
  • 2 to 6 weeks prior to the program start date.............50% refund
  • Within 14 days of the program start date.................No refund

Programs, program dates, and faculty are subject to change and/or cancellation. In the event a program is cancelled by Carlson Executive Education, the registration fee will be fully refunded. Carlson Executive Education is not resonsible for reimbursing travel-related or other expenses of program registrants if a program is cancelled.

Program registrants who must cancel their registration out of MEP or MMI are eligible to transfer their registration and monies paid to the next program offering or other Executive Education programs under the following conditions:

• The program transfer request must be received in writing.
• A $500 administrative fee will be charged for a transfer request received within 6 weeks of the initial program start date.
• Only one transfer request is allowed per registration and is limited to the original program registrant.
• Registrants who opt to transfer are eligible to attend next year's program or apply the equivalent dollar value to other Executive Education programs within one year of the start date for the program in which they initially enrolled. Paid dollars will be converted to a non-refundable credit voucher which must be submitted at time of registration. Credit not applied to a program within a one-year period will be forfeited. Registrants will be responsible for any tuition increases.
