The Carlson School offers a variety of study abroad opportunities for HRIR students, including semester exchanges and flexible short-term electives.


SemesterExchange Programs

Semester exchanges allow HRIR students to change places for a semester with students from one of the Carlson School's 14 world-class partner universities. It's a great way to learn in depth about a region, make meaningful connections overseas, and earn 14 - 16 credits toward your degree.  MORE »


Global EnrichmentElectives

Taught entirely in English, these short-term programs provide an intensive study abroad experience in just 2 - 6 weeks and often take place between semesters. Programs cover a range of current business topics, such as marketing strategies in emerging economies, sustainable business practices, international business ethics, free trade, and protectionism. Students earn 4 - 8 credits that apply toward fulfilling the requirements of the HRIR degree.  MORE »
