The Industrial Relations Center's part-time HRIR evening program maintains a dedicated staff for graduate students so they can focus on earning a world-class education.
Classes are held from 5:45 - 9:00 p.m., allowing students to work full-time while they pursue the degree. Students who take the maximum number of credits each semester can complete the program in 2 calendar years, though most finish in 3 - 5 years.
Part-time students generally enroll for 4 - 8 credits per semester, which requires 1 - 2 trips to campus each week. Most 4-credit courses meet one night a week for 14 weeks, while 2-credit courses meet for 7 weeks.
At least one elective is offered through distance education, and more may be added in the future. Some related field courses in the MBA and Human Resource Development programs are offered on the weekends. Summer courses are also available.
