Iota Rho Chi (IPX)

Founded in 1956, Iota Rho Chi (IPX) is a professional organization composed of graduate students in the Human Resources and Industrial Relations (HRIR) program at the University of Minnesota. The mission of Iota Rho Chi is to proactively and responsively enhance the quality of academic, professional, and social life of graduate students pursuing HRIR careers.

A primary goal of IPX is to establish and maintain relationships with the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies (CHRLS), alumni and the Twin Cities community. IPX is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies Alumni Association (CHRLSAA), the Twin Cities Human Resources Association (TCHRA), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). These organizations provide opportunities for students to learn more about the labor market and meet other professionals in the human resources/industrial relations community.

As the only existing chapter in the United States, IPX takes pride in making the organization an important resource for students to become successful human resource professionals.
