Participating in the Elite Eight Case Challenge
Teams from the eight schools listed at right are invited to participate in the Elite Eight competition. The case is not revealed to any participants until Thursday night in order to prevent unnecessary preparation work. Part of the challenge is the limited time frame.
Awards
While bragging rights are always nice, winning teams share the following prizes:
First place: $10,000
Second place: $7,500
Third place: $5,000
The top three teams in the 2007 competition were Haas-Berkeley, Carlson-Minnesota, Kelley-Indiana.

Participants Responsible For
- Travel to and from the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport
- Hotel accommodations in Minneapolis. The nearest hotel within easy walking distance of the Carlson School is the Holiday Inn Metrodome
- Any additional resources like textbooks that might help you develop your case
