 
Robert W. Ruekert, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and Professor of Marketing at the Carlson School of Management, specializes in marketing strategy, new product development, and brand management. He is a Review Board member at the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and has published widely in top tier marketing journals including the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, and MIT's Sloan Management Review, among others. In his capacity as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, Ruekert provides academic and budgetary oversight to the Carlson School's largest program at over 2000 students. Ruekert has been with the University of Minnesota since 1981.
