Providing a vibrant social, cultural, and business community, students have access to a wide network of international peers and access to dynamic courses aimed at growing management expertise in tomorrow’s leaders. The campus is located on the Mediterranean coast just hours from the French border. This is among the most competitive international programs offered at the Carlson School and potential students should begin planning early.

ESADE is an institution that was founded with a clear aim: to adopt a humanistic approach in the training of critical professionals capable of coping with a changing world. The challenging curriculum at ESADE focuses on preparing managers for an increasingly complex international business environment with an emphasis on teamwork and a global approach to problem solving. The school reflects this mission through consistently training leaders that add value to their companies.

Barcelona faces the Mediterranean Sea from the Iberian Peninsula with a majestic range of mountains forming a scenic background. The city is host to a number of museums, parks, and design fairs. Some of the primary sectors of the service economy are logistics and telecommunications. The social scene and pleasant climate have made Barcelona an international hub of business networks, holiday seekers, and students interested in soaking in the rich culture of Catalonia.

Housing »

Most international students make their own temporary housing arrangements prior to arrival and decide their own housing choice once in Barcelona. ESADE will provide a list of hotels and hostels, and students need to make their own reservations. International students may also arrange housing on-line prior to arrival, but ESADE recommends waiting until arrival to decide if they prefer to live downtown or near campus. In finding an apartment, pay attention to the University’s boards and Intranet. Many Spanish students are going on an exchange themselves and are willing to rent their room or apartment. An International Student Advisor will assist students with housing and adjustment issues.
