International Business in the Latin American context continues to drive innovation and discussion as economic and political factors evolve on a daily. Led by surging growth in international trade with Mexico and Chile, U.S. businesses are challenged to find new ways to sustain this growth while meeting the diverse demands of populations both north and south. Studying in Brazil, a nation currently among the top 15 US trade partners, will allow you to meet these challenges head-on with a diverse student-peer group from around the world.

FGV is the largest private business school in Latin America and allows students the opportunity to explore business topics in the dynamic Brazilian context. As a pioneer of business administration education in Brazil, FGV will immerse you in a premier environment of teaching, research, and consulting in the country.

FGV is located in São Paulo, the largest capital city in South America and a major economic and cultural center of the region. In addition to the wealth of museums and historical sites within city limits, close proximity to some of the world’s most impressive beaches draws an eclectic and exciting mix of visitors from around the globe. Not unlike New York City and other cosmopolitan centers globally, São Paulo is famous for a rich cultural and artistic life made more fascinating by the many restaurants and nightlife spots that cover the city.

Students with a strong background in Spanish and good language-learning ability would find the transition possible. Some professors allow students to do papers in English or Spanish.
