Madhu Viswanathan, a fourth year Ph.D. student in the marketing department, came to the Carlson School of Management after finishing his B.E. in mechanical engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and working in research and software engineering in Bangalore, India.  Viswanathan is pursuing research in vertical contracting relationships. His other interests are in high technology markets and empirical industrial organization.
