Saving Files in the Classroom

Lab L-117 computers have been configured with Deep Freeze which protects the computers from malicious or accidental damage. One of the features of this program is that any files saved to the hard-drive are automatically deleted when the computer is rebooted. Files may be saved on the J:\ drive (called ThawSpace) during the semester where they can be accessed at a later time. (To view the J: drive/Thaw Space, double-click My Computer.) However Lab L-117 computers are reconfigured at the end of each semester, or occasionally if computer problems occur, and at that time the files on the ThawSpace are also deleted.
