

The Curtis L. Carlson Family Foundation Study Abroad Scholarship is provided by the generosity of the members of the Carlson family to help students gain global perspective in business through studying and learning abroad. Both merit-based and financial need-based awards up to $1000 are available; students will be required to submit an essay with their application.
* Open to Carlson School undergraduate or graduate students
* Must be accepted to a Carlson School Global Immersion semester exchange, Global Enrichment short term, or Learning Abroad Center program
International Programs Scholarships were created to foster international understanding at the Carlson School of Management by supporting students who choose to study abroad. The Townley Memorial Fund Scholarship was created in memory of the former dean of the Carlson School, Preston Townley, to foster an international atmosphere at the Carlson School of Management. It supports Carlson School students who choose to study abroad on a graduate semester exchange program. Awards of up to $2500 are granted based on a review of an essay and two supplemental letters of reference.
* Open to Carlson School graduate students
* Must be accepted to a Carlson School Global Immersion semester exchange program
* Must submit two supplemental letters of reference to the International Programs office in addition to submitting the online application
MIS Quarterly International Study Abroad Scholarship was created by the Carlson School's Information and Decisions Sciences department to support an education abroad experience for students pursuing an Information Systems concentration (formerly MIS). Awards totalling $3000 are available and students must submit an application, essay and agree to provide information for the department website if selected as a recipient of the award.
* Open to Carlson School undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior students majoring in Information and Decision Sciences (IDSC/MIS)
* Must be accepted to a Carlson School Global Immersion semester exchange, Global Enrichment short term, or Learning Abroad Center program
