The Operations and Management Science Department of the Carlson School of Management invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Operations Management at the Assistant Professor level, starting in Fall 2008. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Operations Management or related discipline by the starting date of the appointment, August 25, 2008.
Preference will be given to applicants conducting problem-driven research in the areas of supply chain management or new product/process development and innovation. Applicants with strong methodological training in econometrics, applied analytical modeling, and/or experimental methods are particularly desirable. Applicants should also have demonstrated potential to excel in teaching the operations management core and other elective courses.
