Are you ready to order a new laptop through the Carlson School Laptop Program? If so you must complete all of the steps listed below to successfully place an order. If you are not prepared to purchase a computer at this time DO NOT proceed.
NOTE: Please use Internet Explorer and "allow for pop-ups" when prompted. Each Carlson student is limited to purchasing one laptop per year and there is no way to begin an order and save the final purchase for a later date. You must complete the order the time you enter the site, future access to the site is revoked for security purposes.
Laptop sales are now closed for 2009.
PLEASE NOTE: When ordering your machine please consider processing and shipping times to determine the appropriate destination Home or On-Campus Address. Please refer to Housing and Residential Life for your On-Campus ship to address and procedures.
Order Steps: (Please print this page or bookmark for reference while you are ordering)
- Have your x500 username and password ready to access the secured order site. NOTE: You must use your UofM email address (x.500) to create an account on the Lenovo Order Site.
- Review the policies and agreements associated with the Carlson School Laptop Program.
- Determine if you want to insure your machine with LoJack or choose your own insurance.
- Have a credit card ready for payment; cards that are accepted include, MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover and Diners Club.
- Designate a 'ship-to' address, Lenovo currently averages 2-3 WEEKS shipping however this does vary.
Once you have completed these steps you are ready to place your order. At this time you will be redirected to the UMart website. After you review the instructions select the laptop solution you intend to purchase and click the "I Agree" button; you will gain access to the Lenovo Order Site. Please be ready to complete the entire order at this time.
