Wireless Computing at the Carlson School

The Carlson School of Management provides wireless network coverage through the building. The network is built on the 802.11b wireless standard. If you are a University of Minnesota student, staff, or faculty, and have a wireless network card that utilizes this standard, you will be able to use the network.


Technology Supporton Class Weekends

If you have any computer related troubles on a CEMBA Class Weekend, please come and see our IT representative.

There will always be someone from IT available on class days from 7am-8am and 12pm-1pm.  The IT representative will typically be in the reception area or the Workroom (2-250F).

Software Training

Carlson School OIT offers computer software classes each month. Computer classes are offered at no charge for Carlson School students, faculty, and staff. Course registration is required. If you prefer self-study, course materials for most courses, as well as practice files for the Excel classes, are available on-line from the course descriptions. For a list of software classes that are offered, please visit the OIT website.
