Bryan Maach Cisco SC 100x131Bryan Maach is Cisco Systems' Vice President of Market Intelligence. In this role he is responsible for developing a community of research professionals whose mission is to provide actionable information to Cisco's senior leadership. Maach and his team are chartered to deliver systemic headlights on market dynamics, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities that ultimately enable effective investment decisions through fact-based market insight. 

 

Prior to his current position, Maach was IBM's Vice President for Sales and Distribution Market Intelligence. There he provided worldwide executive guidance and leadership for market intelligence professionals supporting the company's sales division.

 

In his nearly ten year tenure with IBM, Maach held a number of research and intelligence positions within the company including Asia Pacific Director of Market Intelligence.  In that position, he created IBM's first formal market intelligence unit in the geography and firmly embedded market intelligence into the geography's strategic and financial planning processes. 

 

Maach is a graduate of Bowling Green State University's Industrial/Organizational Psychology program, where he earned a Master's degree and led external consulting engagements with clients in financial, industrial, and local government sectors. He also holds an BA in Psychology from Iowa State University.
