
The January launch of the Carlson School’s remodeled Web site was a long-awaited event of impressive proportions. The next launch looks to be equally exciting. The Carlson School’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) has been hard at work on future phases of the Web site project, and now it unveils plans for personalized Web tools to make life at the school easier.
The focus of the first phase of the Web site was an external audience, especially potential students. OIT has now turned its attention inward, said Doug Lund, director of OIT.
“We’re building an internal Web site that is really tailored to what your role is,” Lund explained, whether that role is one of student, faculty member, staff member or any combination of these.
