Healthand safety

The health and safety of all students is of utmost priority to Carlson International Programs. We recognize that no organization or institution can guarantee the safety of its participants and that personal responsibility is a key part of one’s successful and safe experience, both at home and abroad. However, we know that risks can be significantly reduced when as staff, students, parents, faculty and advisers we all work together. To that end, we begin preparation proactively before students depart.

Specific health and safety information for each education abroad program is covered during the pre-departure Orientation. Emergency procedures have been developed for each of our programs, and are reviewed to ensure that they are up to date for the current situation. Students are provided with emergency contact information for their program prior to departure. They are encouraged to share this information with their family and friends. We encourage students to speak with International Programs advisers if they have additional questions or concerns about health and safety. Please contact the Education Abroad Program with additional questions.
