Company Information Sessions

Company Information Sessions are an excellent opportunity for the students to make an initial contact with a company representative. The company presentation helps provide information to the interviewing student about the company and position.
 
All students interviewing should attend the information session. Companies are expecting to see you! If you cannot attend the presentation, you should notify the company contact person in advance.
 
For students not on the interview schedule, the information session can provide a valuable way for the student to meet the company representative, and potentially be placed on the interview schedule, if any openings exist. All interested students are welcome to attend the sessions, unless otherwise noted.


Career Exploration Conference

The Career Exploration Conference is an annual fall event for first year and part-time MBAs, first year MA-HRIRs, MAcc & MBT students geared to help you become more knowledgeable about career options related to your degree. Being informed about career choices can also help you make appropriate course selections. It’s a great opportunity to meet and network with experienced professionals from top national and local companies. You’ll meet these professionals in panels organized by career field. Over 50 companies and panelists are represented. The Career Exploration Conference will be held in September 2009.


Graduate Career Fair

The Graduate Career Fair is an annual spring event for MBA and MA-HRIR students geared toward networking with experienced professionals from local small to mid-sized companies. These companies will have the opportunity to present information about their organization and hiring needs in a career fair setting where students will be able to visit the booths of each individual company, present their resume and ask questions about the companies hiring needs. Companies attending are seeking candidates for both full-time and internship positions. The Graduate Career Fair will be held on Friday, March 27 from 9:00-11:30am. 


MBA Corporate Reception

The MBA Corporate Reception is a networking event for MBA students and employers. This cocktail hour reception allows companies to get their first peek at the talented incoming MBA class, as well as talk with second year MBA students about their internship experience and career goals. This is a great opportunity to make a first impression on employers before the official start to fall recruiting. The Corporate Reception will be held in September 2009.
