Kenneth Coyle,AstraZeneca

Kenneth Coyle currently serves as Executive Director, Commercial Insight for AstraZeneca, LLC, a leading pharmaceutical company with world-class biologics capabilities. In this role, Coyle guides all US-based strategic analytics across the Field Sales and Brand Marketing organizations designed to guide AstraZeneca’s development of industry-leading market strategies. Since joining AstraZeneca, he has shaped marketing and analytic practices targeted for key customers including healthcare professionals and consumers.

 

During his time in the pharmaceutical industry, Coyle has held a variety of roles. He began his career working for Strategic Marketing Corporation, a global market research and strategy organization, and consulted with a range of major pharmaceutical companies to maximize new product positioning, hone promotional communication strategies, and develop advanced tracking analytics for product launch and sales performance.
 
Coyle later moved to Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led a range of forecasting, promotional response, and commercial analytic teams. During his tenure there, Coyle helped drive adaptation of CPG marketing and analytic practices across multiple therapeutic areas. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Genactis, Inc., the US arm of a multi-national marketing consultancy, providing analytic services across the global pharmaceutical industry.
 
Coyle holds a BA in Sociology from Grinnell College and a Masters in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, where he specialized in the application of advanced analytics and research methodologies.
