Danish businesses and organizations are steeped in a long tradition of cooperation with the public and private sectors. Innovative practices built upon critical theoretical knowledge are put to the test in this distinctly Scandinavian capital.

Copenhagen is known as one of the most charming cities in all of Europe and there is no shortage of ways to pass the time. Spend a day viewing 15th century artwork at the National Gallery or strolling along the Strøget, the world’s longest pedestrian shopping street.

Located just minutes from Central Station and the Tivoli Gardens amusement park, Copenhagen Business School (CBS) provides you with excellent support and services as a Carlson School exchange student. CBS is the second largest business school in all of Europe and enjoys intimate ties with both the local and international business communities. As an internationally-focused university, CBS students gather from around the world to exchange ideas and impressions as they share success in putting their skills into practice.

To be eligible for this education abroad program, you must be:

• A current student enrolled in a Carlson School Part-time MBA or MA-HRIR program
• In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Additional criteria may apply

Students in the program receive up to 14 S/N Carlson School International Business (IBUS 5300) credits for their semester at CBS. Students enroll in 4 full (7.5 ECTS) courses at CBS to earn 14 Carlson School credits. Intercultural Communication and Management courses offer a unique opportunity to engage the subject content in an international environment with fellow students from around the globe.

CBS can arrange accommodation in houses, flats, residence halls, or shared student flats. Housing is guaranteed for students who apply by the deadline (June and November, for Fall and Spring respectively) though location preference is not. Costs vary.

Application materials include the online application form, a resume, and essay. Submit a completed application by the February 28th priority deadline prior to the academic year in which you wish to participate. Programs that do not fill following the priority deadline will be reviewed on a rolling-admissions basis.

Admission to all programs is based on review of your application by the study abroad selection committee. Applications will be reviewed following the deadline, and you will be notified of your status by official letter in April. Once selected, you will be asked to pay a $500 deposit in order to confirm your place in the program.
