Denmark is among the global leaders in many industries, including pharmaceuticals, productions, maritime transport, information technology and communication. Danish businesses and organizations are steeped in a long tradition of cooperation that bridges public and private sectors. Innovative practices, built upon critical theoretical knowledge, are put to the test in this distinctly Scandinavian capital.
Copenhagen is known as one of the most charming cities in all of Europe and there is no shortage of ways to pass the time. You can learn more about the city and surrounding area by visiting the Copenhagen Tourism Site.

Students enroll in 16 S/N Carlson School International Business (IBUS 5100) credits for a semester at Copenhagen Business School. Students typically take four full courses at CBS to earn 30 ECTS and meet minimum requirements.
Hundreds of courses are offered in English every semester at CBS. Finance, Strategy, and International Business are among CBS's strongest departments in addition to demonstrated excellence in the areas of Management, Human Resource Management, and Intercultural Communication & Management. With nearly 20 different academic concentrations and a distinctly strong program in Asian Studies, students find many courses of interest that suit their degrees.
CBS offers courses in both English and Danish, and exchange students select from a course catalog of offerings taught in English with the opportunity to request courses in Danish if their language skills allow. All exchange students have the option of taking a Danish language crash course during the Introduction Programme the week prior to classes.
