Thomas Buchner joined the OMS department as full-time Senior Lecturer in 2008, following several years as a member of the part-time faculty. Tom holds BA, MBA, and PhD degrees from the University of Minnesota. He teaches a variety of operations management courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He also is a certified management consultant with more than 25 years of experience working with service and manufacturing organizations in the pursuit of quality and process improvement. Over that period he developed and taught operations management related courses through other business schools including experience as a Six Sigma black belt and champion instructor.
