MBA in Two Admissions

Application Deadline

The priority application deadline for MBA in Two is July 1 of your graduating year. However, we will continue to accept applications for the program until September 1 of that same year.

Academic Scholarships and Fellowships

The Carlson School has designated fellowships specifically for MBA in Two students - you could potentially be awarded up to the full cost of tuition!

As an MBA in Two applicant, you will automatically be considered for our academic scholarships and fellowships. Should you be awarded a scholarship and/or fellowship, this information will be provided within your admit packet.

Application Checklist

To be considered for admission to MBA in Two, applicants must be in the process of completing their Bachelor's degree and submit a complete application to the Carlson MBA Programs Office. A complete application includes:

Application

You must complete the online application. You will be prompted to enter your X500 and password to start your application. You will need your X500 and password each time you save and wish to resume your online application.

Transcripts

By submitting your application, you are giving the Carlson MBA Programs Office the rights to review and print your University of Minnesota academic transcripts for the purpose of admission consideration into the MBA in Two program.

Upon completion of your degree, please request for official transcripts from One Stop to be forwarded to the Carlson MBA Programs Office:

GMAT Score

A GMAT score no older than five years old is required for admission to the MBA program. Arrange for the testing service to send an official score report to the Carlson MBA Programs Office, code D2N-VJ-15. Results normally arrive 2-3 weeks after the test. We require a minimum GMAT score of 660 for MBA in Two applicants.

References

Use the online application to provide the names of three references. These references can be either academic or professional.

Personal Statement

We require a personal statement of your career goals and objectives in pursuing an MBA degree. Details about the personal statement can be found within the online application.

Current Resume

You will be required to upload a current resume to the online application. The resume should include job responsibilities, accomplishments and student involvement.

Interview

All MBA in Two applicants are required to complete an admissions interview. After you have submitted your application, you will be invited to interview with a Carlson MBA representative.
