Professor Ravi Bapna, founding academic director of University of Minnesota's Social Media and Business Analytics Collaborative (SOBACO), will present "Building a Socially Savvy Brand in a Data-Rich Hyper-Connected World" at the next Brand Matters on March 26 at 7:30 a.m. in the Carlson School of Management's 3M Auditorium.
As the adage goes, customers define your brand more than you do. And in today's hyper-connected, data-rich world, marketers have unprecedented access to what customers are saying--about their likes and dislikes, their interests, habits, and experiences. So how can companies use data from the social graph to build better brands and marketing campaigns? The most effective techniques go well beyond counting "likes" and followers. In his talk, Bapna will provide insight into the science of social networks, including how they can be studied and used to business advantage.
The $25 fee for Brand Matters includes both breakfast and parking. Registration is required on the Brand Matters website.
Offered jointly by the Carlson School of Management, Yamamoto Moss Mackenzie, and Twin Cities Business, Brand Matters is a speakers' series that provides tools and insights to help companies build their brands.
