Orlando "Tubby" Smith joined the Gophers in March 2007 as the 16th Head Basketball Coach of the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Smith came to Minnesota after having spent the past 10 seasons (1997-2007) as the head coach at the University of Kentucky. This endangers the surrounding wildlife and pollutes the water and other ecosystems. Immersion is a group of students who empower their peers to go out into their world and build leadership skills and business acumen, form new friendships and values, and make differences that would not otherwise be possible.
