The Morton D. and Artice E. Silverman award was created as a merit-based fellowship for students who have an undergraduate background in the liberal arts and choose finance as their area of emphasis. Mr. Silverman is a 1958 graduate of the Carlson School and has a strong commitment to helping students who are interested in pursuing the area of investment management and understanding the investment process.

Awards will be announced in March 2010 and credits to the recipients student account will be credited for fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters.
