  To open a CARS student account, you must be currently pursuing one of the following degrees:
Please note that all student accounts are closed three months after graduation. Also, if you haven't been registered with the Carlson School or the University of Minnesota for two semesters, your CARS account may be closed.

  As an alum, you can access CARS if you received a degree through the Carlson School or were eligible as a student for a CARS account. If you have special circumstances and need to access CARS, please contact the Business Career Center.

- Full-Time MBA
Full-Time MBA students have access to CARS immediately.
- Part-Time MBA
To be eligible for CARS, Part-Time MBA students must complete a degree program form, mock interview, and resume review.
Students who graduate in the fall are eligible for CARS the previous June. Students who graduate in the spring or summer are eligible in June of the year before graduation.
Part-Time MBA Student Guidelines
- Carlson Executive MBA
Students gain access after completing 22 credits of the degree program.
