Welcome Week Event
Please join the MBA Student Affairs Staff team in welcoming all new and returning MBA students to the Fall 2007 school semester. Network with other MBA students and get to know the staff. Welcome week will run the entire first week of classes beginning Tuesday, Sept., 4th.

Health Insurance
If you do not have health insurance coverage you will automatically be charged for the University's coverage. You will be covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you have questions regarding coverage or if you did not receive an insurance card make sure to contact the Boynton Insurance Office at 612 624-0627.
If you do have your own coverage there is still time to enter your carrier information before the September 11th deadline. To enter information go to the following web site: http://onestop.umn.edu/registrar/registration/index.html (click on view/update hospitalization insurance information).

International Programs
International Programs will be at Welcome Week activities so stop over to see us with questions about studying abroad! It's never too early to start thinking about the December 1 deadline for May programs! The application process is competitive, and space is limited, so schedule an advising appointment with us for guidance or questions about applying. We are located in 4-104.
Fall 2007 Important Dates A and full term classes:
- September 11 - Last day to add classes without instructor approval
- September 11 - Last day to cancel courses with a 100% refund, this only affects you if you are under 12 credits or over 19 credits
- September 17 - Last day to cancel courses without a grade of W (grades of W only mean withdrawal after the normal period of adding and canceling and do not count in your GPA)
B term classes:
- November 5 - Last day to add classes without instructor approval

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
Informal Self-Defense Group for the MBA Students. Your fellow MBA student, Rajneet Kakker, would like to teach a few basic self-defense techniques to gain time during emergency situations. He will offer 5-10 sessions (1 session every week right after classes), keeping the number of students to not more than 6 at a time.
