Rybak and Coleman Reposition Minneapolis and St. Paul: Two Cities, One Destination

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (2/22/2007) -- The Institute for Research in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management is delighted to announce that Mayors Rybak and Coleman will unveil their new initiative to reposition the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul as one destination from 5:30-7:30 pm on March 19th at the Carlson School.

At the culmination of three years of top tier marketing research, thousands of personal conversations, and the insightful input of business leaders and citizens, the mayors will discuss this new marketing campaign bringing together the perceptions of the Twin Cities and the reality of all they have to offer.

In an unprecedented effort to apply cutting-edge marketing principles to city government, the Mayors and their consultant, Meet Minneapolis, will describe the thoughtful and innovative research that underlies the strategic repositioning of the Twin Cities. What do people say about the Twin Cities? What do visitors actually experience?

Join us for the first public discussion of this repositioning plan. Discussion and Q&A with both mayors and their communications experts from 5:30-7:00 pm as well as a reception immediately following the talk are included in the cost of $45.
